I believe I had to much time on my hands last night. Once I found the huge potato i couldn't stop. It's like a disease.

As I remember someone told that they did not grow potatoes in Idaho and I developed a curiosity on said potatoes.

The potato museum is in the SE par of the state. Did not know you had flat lands that close to you. You could be out in Kansas or Nebraska if it wasn't for the hill in the back ground.

Most all potato production is down in the south east corner of the state. The famous potato comment is a bit over blown being that there is more wheat grow that potatoes. There is also rape seed (canola oil), barely, hay (alfalfa hay), etc. As for potatoes I've live here on the west side for 25 years and never seen a potato farm yet. :wow:

Rape seed is one of the ingredients of bio diesel also. Cant remember it it is biomass or bio blend. Not sure who ever controls it knows either. They seem to overlap one another from what i have read.
