blinker sticking

Recommended Posts

For some reason when i use my blinkers if i leave them on at a stop light they will blink like they are supposed to then they will stick or stay on and stop blinking. I thought maybe a bad bull so i replaced them all and still having the same issue. My dad mentioned possibly the blinker switch on the steering column but i didn't want to tear into incase anybody else has had a similar issue with an easy fix.

The controls for your blinker and hazard lights is in the fuse box at the drivers door. I forget which one is which but you should be able to get them at any auto parts. I am pretty sure there are different kinds, the one I put in mine does not let know when a bulb is burnt out like the OE did. So check and see what they have, I miss that feature and need to get the different one. Pretty sure thars your issue,  not sure how to detirmine whether it is one or the other.

I believe it is the one circled in yellow. The Blue one is the hazard. Or vice versa.20181214_155321.jpg.51f4a20fbb3e1bb547a38f1233adf330.jpg

Make sure you check yours-l640.jpg.d6d23beca221dbb213aa94f861999225.jpg

Sometimes you can get it free atimageproxy.jpeg.a25df6ed81700c0ab2038785ad4fa643.jpeg.f67e1e2ce8bb3b943b151350ad0573b7.jpeg

But seriously it's probably your flasher. There is original one that will let you know if the bulb is burned out, or if you use LED bulbs then you need electronic one, probably that's what @dripley has. I also have an electronic one because of LED bulbs that I'm using

Edit

The flasher is a big square one in dripley picture
