I remember responding in a Patrol car to a boat launch... the neighbors heard a lot of noise & thought some kids were causing trouble. The road dead ended & a hard right was a steep paved boat launch. Sticking out of the water was a couple of tail lights, the convertable top of a fancy sports car was about awash. Two suddenly sober college kids sitting on the trunk... A wrecker was able to winch it out... The Lt was in the unit behind me so I don't know how they made out otherwiise.
