Hi there. I have Chrysler 47RE automatic transmission that comes out of a Dodge Ram 2nd generation with a Cummins 5.9L diesel 12 valve engine and I want to use it in a hotrod in a standalone configuration. Can you please assist me with how to power up the transmission control module? I have the transmission control module and the wiring harness. Can anyone please help me with the pin connections or a wiring diagram?

Good luck with your conversion sounds like a interesting project, here is a diagram I have from the good folks here, starting on page 38 is the transmission specific wiring.

I'm getting ready to do a 12v swap into a 3rd gen truck with a 48re and am planning on trying to use the ecm and tcm to run that transmission, it may be a bit of work but I think I can manage it.

Thanks for your replay and help. ?

Sign up for a membership and the FSM and 47RE books are here for download. The ATSG book is a good resource and goes over some of the basic controls.

Then reverse engineer from each book.
