Need help finding brake parts

Recommended Posts

Probably have to get new wheels cylinders. They are about $10-15 each side. Its the perfect time to upgrade to 1 ton chevy wheel cylinders while your at it. I am using 1995 chevy 1 ton dually wheel cylinders, but make sure they are for a dually and not a 1 ton single wheel as they are the biggest ones.

Ive never bought a hardware kit for the Dodges but other vehicles Ive done they have been included in the kits. Ask the auto parts store for a spring kit and take a look at it, they should be in there. For the wheel cylinders, Napa part number 37337. They are for a 1 ton Chevy and is a direct bolt in. They were an improvement for me, but I think unhooking the load proportioning valve and cranking it up most of the way helped me as much if not more than the wheel cylinders

Probably a situation where some brands the pins are included and some aren't. I haven't done a set of drums that ever required the pins to be replaced but I haven't lived anywhere that salts the roads thank god. No better way to ruin a perfectly good vehicle. I don't plan on ever buying another truck and I'm only 51, but I don't have to worry about it rotten out from under me.
