I'm just curious, is there any benefit in using Mopar Official Transmission fluid ATF+4 verses Super Tech transmission fluid ATF+4? Are they made by the same company? The Super Tech is a lot cheaper.

According to the ATF products listed by Wally World, they do not sell a Super Tech ATF4 transmission oil but they do sell an ATF4 Chrysler acquired oil. http://msds.walmartstores.com/cache/287652.pdf This info. may be out of date or Wally World is repackaging this oil in their Super Tech containers through Warren Distribution who does blend and repackage oil for Walmart. ATF4 is particular to Chrysler transmissions. Here is some poop I came across on ATF4: http://www.allpar.com/mopar/transmissions/fluids.html Bottom line.....if Walmart has their Super Tech ATF4 on the shelf, use it. Chysler doesn't make oil and either does Wally World. It is someone elses oil repackaged.

Wow that's a great find on the ATF fluids from Allpar.com...

Thanks Mike. Glad to help contribute to the the group and forum's info. and knowledge.

Not exactly... Myself I would take the hod back attidute and hold and watch and see how good the lifespan of this ATF is. Kind of like you get what you pay for...

I changed my fluid, Mobil ATF4 and filter and adjusted the bands last weekend. It seems to work good but if it goes bad I'll let you know. It sure does shift better though.
