First, I have tried two different readers. I bought a cheap actron and it say's "no link". So I borrowed a nicer one from a buddy from work and it says, "can not establish connection, check port connection." It's acting like I have a dead port. Any suggestions? Second, the problem i am having is it's gone dead pedal on me twice now in the last week. The engine just drops right to an idle and the cel comes on. It idles just fine, not rough at all just no pedal. Both times it has only lasted 15 - 20 seconds and come right out of it. The cel stays on for about a day then it goes out. Anyone run onto this before? The dead port I mean, I have read about a thousand threads on dead pedal, but, haven't found any on dead port:banghead: Thanks, Bruce

jc, thats exactly what it is doing. When I plug it in it powers the reader up but then won't establish a connection. I haven't checked the fuses yet because it is powering up the reader. Going to check them next. What I did do is go through all my grounds and battery cables and cleaned everything up. I found a ground strap burned in half from what I believe is the ccd. Passenger firewall behind air filter. It was grounded to the firewall about an inch above my top turbo. I routed a new strap over to the fender and figured my problem was over. Hooked everything back up and did the apps reset. Plugged in my reader and still no connection. On a side note it does run noticeably better since doing the apps reset. A little crisper, better throttle response. Thanks, Bruce

Pin 3 and P11 are the ODBII port data. You need to check those two pins against ground and see if you get 2.49 and 2.51 volts from the 2 pins. If your not see the 2.49 and the 2.51 volts now you got to start unplugging devices till you gain the voltage back. The device that you unplugg and gain the CCD Bus back will be your damage device.
