hex0rz 237 1 Vehicles Posted November 28, 2013 Was at a camping world a while ago and gave it some thought. If I'm gonna pick one of these up, which one should I be getting? Looks like everyone has the SGII. But why do they make the diesel then? http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/scangauge-ii/55455 http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/scangauge-diesel/61464
diesel4life 176 Posted November 28, 2013 Interesting. Never seen that version before. I see a couple of features the diesel version has that I like. Not sure what constitutes it as a "diesel" specific though. I think you should be our resident guinea pig and tell us how it works! JR

dennhop 22 Posted December 29, 2013 The diesel specific part is in the design of the connector...it's not an OBDII style plug, its the j plug, more commonly found on commercial heavy duty engines; it's a round plug, 6 or 9 pin. This is why they say diesel specific, and probably why they're selling it at Camping World, due to the class A motorhomes they service and sell.
