Garage description length

Howdy Mike, we talked about this a little last night, and here's the "reminder" you wanted.

 

So pretty much, the descriptions are limited to being fairly short.  Very livable, but on the short side for trying to explain results before/after the mod, or custom work.  Here's an example, I put about 5 million periods after the description, and this is what it cut it off at.  http://forum.mopar1973man.com/index.php?/garage/vehicle/36-gandulf-the-white/?mod_id=83&tab=mods

 

Like I said, it's not a big deal, I was just curious if it was a simple change.

EDIT; There's also one more thing now that I'm thinking about it.

 

When you put a "new line" in (hit "enter"), everything is wonderful until the next time you edit it, it shows it as a "<br />", and gets rid of the "new line" command.  Not really an issue, just a design flaw the developers might want to know about.

I've not forgotten about this and still in contact with the developer and seeing about expanding this out more. Say to 1,000 characters.

I ran into again today I was updating my own profile more as a example but then BLAM! Hit the wall with the limitation. Darn it! So I submitted a support request for the author to tweak the database for me. Think of that I'll backup the site quickly tonight.

I seen it too but after editing the and deleting the <br /> tags it stayed gone. <br /> is just line break (enter key). But since you can produce it too I'll ask about the <br /> tags.
