Wow! I was in total shock to here a heavy British accent on the phone this morning. A nice gentlemen over in England has a 2000 Dodge Cummins that died for no reason. He pulled the codes and found P1693 and P1689. So he had a Bosch dealer hook directly to the VP44 and found the VP44 was operational. so I guided him over to thE ECm page for the wiring diagram of the ECM to VP44 to hopefully help him out. Phone call didn't last long but the whole thing is over in England there is very few Dodge Cummins trucks and very little information or service centers for them so he found the site to hopefully get an answer to his problem.

Well, I bit the bullet, I am going to sell my POS Troy Bilt lawn tractor, and my POS White 45" snow thrower and replace it with some thing that better fits my taste for mechanical power. I put the money down on a John Deere 2305 3 cyl diesel powered tractor. For now, I am getting a 54" snow plow, and a 54 inch mower deck. I took it for a test drive yesterday and it was smooth, vibration it the drivers seat is almost absent. Today, I am heading back up the hill and notice a Chevy dualie with a 3 horse trailer jackknifed on a road. The tongue of the trailer was in the ditch on the right and the nose of the truck was in the ditch on the left side. Not sure how he did it! Were talking a very small hill! I turn around and ask if he needs a pull out of his predictament. He says my shortbed will not be able to do the job, he will have to get a wrecker. I tell him I will get my tow chain.
