Having electrical issues with my 2001 Dodge Ram 2500..going down the road the other night the lights behind my speedo went out. My cluster gauges I guess? I also noticed no marker lights and no running lights in the back..I heard a click and everything went dark any ideas? I checked most of my fuses and no luck

If you are sure there are no bad fuses, I would start looking at wiring?  Are you tapped into an power to run an accessory or mod?  Look for bad splices and connectors?  How about water in connectors?  Grounds? Chafed wires?  Get a multi meter and shoot wires for continuity.

I'd say a short somewhere.  Besides the minor fuses, there are fuseable links & circuit breakers under the hood, driver's side, a panel with a cover over it.  Possibly a relay failure?   Codes?  Read the codes.

agree with above.  I would recheck fuses then start looking at any power taps/splices that you or a prior owner did into the running lights.

Yea I have a few gauges wires in and my edge comp wired in. I've double checked the fuses..I'll go thru my wires on my lights and under the dash and check codes

Yea after market head lights I'll check those fuses to the HIDs

I found a 20 amp fuse blown under the hood in my "15amp park lamp position"

I put another fuse in and it blew immediately dose this narrow down where the problem may lie?

I do appreciate the help guys

Sounds like you have it narrowed down to a short somewhere.

yep get the multimeter out and start checking for ground on your hot wires.   You have a short to ground someplace.

Pretty much narrows it down to the entire rig, all 4 corners marker lites to trailer plug to all dash lites. I would start with any add-ons and go from there.

Don't you hate that  :lmao:

Pretty much, "I don't know when or where, but something bad is happening"
