Posted March 24, 20169 yr Looking to change sway bar or just the end links any recommendations on the 1999 I heard it's not that bad of a suspension I have the steering brace new shocks ball joints seem tight just at high speeds and tight lanes i gets a little white knuckles
March 24, 20169 yr I'd look at getting new sway bar links first. Make sure they are long enough to support your 2" lift. See how the truck handles from that point.
March 24, 20169 yr end links are an easy and fairly cheap install. If your getting swaying issues at higher speeds, that sounds like track bar to me.
March 24, 20169 yr Author I going to order sway bar end links I have a 2 in leveling kit do I need the adjustable away bar and end links I'm also going to change the track bar any suggestions on where to purchase these parts thanks Edited March 24, 20169 yr by ebbtide357
March 24, 20169 yr i'd get adjustable links and track bar for any amount of lift. the more the lift the truck the more the axle will shift, .5 inch to 8" doesn't matter the axle will move. More the bigger the lift.
March 24, 20169 yr Diesel Auto Power is a good spot for most of those parts. If you read the description on the end link they'll typically state the range of lift they can accommodate. As far as track bar, I'd say just pick whichever one is adjustable and fits your budget.
