What does shop charge to change vp? How much per hour and hours to change?

cant say what your shop rate,s are like down your way, but the pump change is a 4 hour job avarage we do two a week here most times

My Mitchell One book shows 4 shop hours to change a VP44... Then just figure their shop rate against it...

300.00 to 400.00.Is my guess.

They charged 315.00 plus tax 327.00 = 78.75 Everyone here knows it only takes about 2.50 if you know what your doing. My son and I did the last one in 2.50, he did all the under the hood stuff and I did all the heavy work outside like hold the light for him and stuff like that.lol The reason I didnt fix it my self is I have a herniated 4th lumbar. I probably could have done it my self, but I have a ton of work to get out. And really dont wont to be on the couch for another 3 months. lolJust found out today my mother took her car down there several times. I ask why and she said I didnt wont to bother you. I told her for Gods sake bother me next time.
