SLT are initials for what?

 

Wife says  "Sport Light Truck"  

 

Just curious 

Stands for Street Legal Truck.  Or Stock Looking Truck.

 

But actually IIRC it stands for Standard Luxury Trim, and the ST model (with vinyl floors and crank windows) was the Standard Trim.

I always wondered the same thing... 

I wonder what the letter are for the full meal deal with heated seats, power seats, overhead computer etc. My truck is a SLT but missing all the "Luxury trim".

Thought it was SLT Plus or something like that.

Mine is a Laramie 

Mine says Laramie on the rear pillar too, but your trim package is an SLT Plus
