Would the truck even noticed its a HO ECM? I mean aside from the hp/tq increase, the sensors and plugs are all the same right?

At first I was just like you, but then I considered the JL factor in and it might go to the moon.lol I dont know if the vp and ecm have any communication as far as diff. hp

I would just plug it in and try it, more power and torque is a good thing. :thumbup2:

I was talking this over with someone and he said that either SO or HO may fuel more than the other.

I am guessing the HO fuels more, as it has more power..I don't know if the compression difference will make a difference or not.

Yea we talked on that also. Best I know it can be reflashed to a so. So maybe it will work.

it probably could be reflashed(most can). the question is whom do you know with a bench to do the work? as far as fueling goes the HO produces 10hp/45foot lbs more than the SO. it also has a higher compression and a vp44 designed differently. i personally don't think the ecm fuels much more than SO, or the #'s would be higher:2cents:
