Just bought some new tires installed this morning, on my new rims I had bought awhile back. I milked my old bald BFGs tell the fell apart and spit and leaked . I almost got stranded with a flat , so time for new tires already

Nice truck! Best lines Chevy ever put on a truck. I bought one brand new in 78 for $5750. He he...... those days are gone.

I’m a die hard Chevy fan, always liked the pre 1987 Chevy trucks. Still own an 84 and a 52,  I used to have a few of the 67 to 72 Chevy trucks, some of the best trucks to ever roll out of Detroit 

I loved the seats in them too. used to support you just right even on rough roads. Mine was a 79 4x4 with a six cylinder and three on the tree. I lifted it two inches and put Hurst shifter thru the floor. It was a fun truck. Metallic forest green.

Gawd, I remember those days,  When I was a teen I had a 68 shortbed Stepside had a built 350 and I took out the truck 4 speed and put in a Muncie m22 rock crusher, out of a Chevelle , ( that was just the beginning of a bad relationship with local law enforcement)  I had the short hurst shifter out of the floorboard 

 

the girls used to get embarrassed when I’d reach down and put my arm through their legs, when in actuality I was just reaching down to grab another gear  

That a good was a good sign if she got embarrassed.

 

That would be the truck.The sound alone always got my attention....... every dog gone time I'd hear/ see a Muncie  4 spd chevelle I was kicking myself for not having the money for one.
