Alright, I guess if I am going to spend some time on the truck this weekend maybe I should open this can of worms..  None of the courtesy lights in the truck work.  When I acquired the truck the previous owner said they were all fine until Best Buy put in the stereo.  Something they did screwed up the lights. Is this something anyone has heard of, or has an idea of where to start?

Thank You

IOD (Ignition Off Draw) fuse is in the cab. Driver side fuse. The IOD is listed on the fuse cover.

Ignition Off Drain fuse.  I believe its under the hood.  Controls lights, and radio.  If those things are dead thats probably the culprit.  Had it happen to me on my Jeep.  Shorted wires going to the visor light and knocked out radio and inside lights and my power locks.

my radio works fine, you know what I can't recall if the mirror lights work in the visor, the map lights could have their own isolated problems I suppose, maybe it is just a dome light issue......  I will run out to the truck in a few minutes to check and report back.

so the vanity mirror lights work..  bulb is good, guess that leaves ground potentially or a connection issue with the pink wire going to the dome light itself.

It appears to be good, though I have never seen it lit.  Will put it on the meter when I get home.

I should get 12 volts across the prongs that hold the bulb in the dome light with the light either switched on or door open, correct?

anyidea where that R8 Joint connection is?  says near Junction block?  Is that drivers side under the hood behind the battery?
