Anyone know what this thread size is and what its actually called? 1/8" ntp screws into it but this is a straight thread that seals with an o ring. NPT is tapered. Thread pitch gauges are at the shop

I have an oil pressure switch for a fuel pump I no longer have. Sits just aft of the VP. I was going to buy a plg and remove the switch during the VP swap. Same deal, straight thread with an o ring to seal. Sorry I dont know the anything about threads or the where abouts of my plug that used to go there.

Sold. Does that come with free shipping? Wait a minute, is this Amazon?

As I recall it is a metric straight thread. A taper pipe thread will thread into it but with a oil gallery I wouldn't trust it . In noncritical use I have just used the tapered threaded pipe fittings .

Parker pn for anyone who wants an adapter to install a 1/8" pipe sending unit for oil pressure gauge. At $19.49 it wasn't cheap but it's right.
