How I get my high idle activated

I have a 2001 24v vp44 with a quadzilla it seems my truck does not have high idle activated I would like to change that I am new to cummins ownership

Quadzilla - Warm up mode has to be turned on and set to a temperature in which will be the shutdown point of the high idle. Typically its set like 140 to 160*F of coolant. Then the high idle delay is the amount of time till high idle starts. Timer will reset if the throttle is tapped or used.

Mopar1973Man High Idle - The switch needs to be set for 3 CYL or 6CYL mode and give the ECM time to activate the software. This requires the ECM to be flashed by a dealer or Smarty to enable the high idle software. 

 

 

WARNING: Do not use the Quadzilla high idle at the same time trying to get 3 CYL high idle. There will be a clash of softwares and this is really hard on the engine and VP44.
