99 Cummins won't turn off with key

Ignition won't ground out have to pull fuel relay to kill engine dash lights stay on with key off already changed ignition disconnected alternator pulled starter to see if contacts hung up idk what to do I gotta get it fixed by tomorrow

Ignition switch replacement most likely if the dash lights stay on. If the dash is still it up then the ECM and PCM could be too. Might look at those wire and double check there is nothing modified that could hold power to the run leads.

I got it to turn off and on with key by cleaning up. A bunch of wiring adding chafing geR double up some grounds not my cluster is cluster.f....cked just keeps twitching out only thing that works is the rpm

Then we need to flip over to CCD network issues. Possibly a PCM issue too.. Remember the ECM is a secondary computer and does not create the CCD network. Only the PCM can create the network.

You could pull the cluster and clean those contacts also. Not difficult to do.
