Fixed it for you. First leg down. We ran down hwy 55 figured on Emmett ID but that failed when we got there we found the RV park closed. I head down towards Eagle ID but found a Chevron with a dirt lot besides the store.I did the polite thing walked in and asked if I could park here. Gal said, "No problem.". Wife and I are going to dry camp as much as possible.

Scaled the truck bit heavy 8,880 pounds, trailer getting close 8,360 pounds. Total weight 17,240 pounds.

Running my custom tow tune. Level 2. Plenty of pulling power and roughly 12 MPG with the weight.

ABORT MISSION -REPEAT- ABORT MISSION.

We left home here at about 3pm on May 11 2026. We made it down to Emmett ID but the public RV park was closed. We left Emmett and made it to few miles outside of Eagle ID and this Chevron station had a large dirt lot. Perfect! Loaded up with fuel (We aren't going to talk about prices! 🤬) walk inside and asked and gal was like sure. No problem. Got a fairly level spot and shut the truck down and all 3 of us (Mollie the cat) headed for the RV.

Next morning. We got ready and head for @Tweety Bird doctor appointment and sure enough they called and reschedule till 1pm. OK lets get food for the RV. Didn't even make it to WinCo and Beast fell on his face full 3 seconds like the key got turned off and back on. Quadzilla was still seeing data. No check engine light. We opted to go back hitch up and abort the trip. Once out of the city area I pulled over got my OBDLink MX code reader. Sure enough there was a P1689 code. Still no check engine light. Clear the codes to make sure it doesn't go into limp mode.

Ran for home drove with a light foot and power level still on 2. Just a little bit more than 1/4 tank of fuel ran an average speed of 55MPH home still 141 mile run. Not shabby! Just weird. Im going to hunt the forum for my last pump see how far it went.

@Tweety Bird and I are home safe. Beast unhooked from the trailer and we are just camping in the front yard. Too tired to pack stuff out today. Ugh!
