Over the past few months, my vent selector switches to defrost and stays there. Only when I first start up the truck does it switch to what the selector is at. All other vacuum actuated things work... no problems with 4x4 or cruise. Looked over the vacuum system and cannot find any leaks.I went behind the dash and pulled off the yellow hose running to the zone selector vacuum actuator and applied a little suction to the actuator and it works fine, but does take quite a bit of vacuum pressure. Does the zone actuator become worn out or brittle? Thanks for the help, I have run out of things to try.
