Does anybody have a diagram of the steering column, I have bearings going out or something going wrong in there. I tryed a search but no luck, maybe I am spelling it wrong :shrug:

Just looked at the FSM for the steering column and it doesn't seem to show any internal structure of the column. Just more or less the steering wheel, clock spring, multi-function switch, etc. But nothing internal... :shrug:

You might try Googling ' Dodge Ram steering column bearings' I know there is a vendor that has a video out about a weak factory bearing inside the steering column. It's located on the engine side of the column tube. He said if you can reach down and pull on the steering shaft right where it comes out of the column tube, and has excessive play, you need this aftermarket bearing upgrade.Wish I had saved that link now. :duh:
