post-10340-138698185957_thumb.jpgI noticed while looking under my hood that I have a small leak around the oil filter head where it attaches to the block. The oil cooler is here and I am wondering if this is a problem with the cooler gasket. Is this something I should address imediately or is it something I can wait on for a few thousand miles until I get home? I really dont want to deal with water in the oil, but dont really have every thing I need here in Iowa.

That looks like oil on the outside are you sure you did spill oil there adding it to the crankcase? I'd clean it up with some simple green and check it later on and see if it returns...Because that gasket should leak coolant not oil...post-2-138698185968_thumb.jpg

I did change the oil before I came to Iowa and could have dribbled some. I was just thinking oil cooler so it should leak oil, wasnt thinking coolant. I shall clean it up and keep an eyeball on it. I just did not want to have to deal with coolant in the oil. Looks like a nasty mess to contend with. I appreciate the input.
