Hi. New here and I'm glad to find you guys. So I recently picked up a 2002 2500 five nine 4x. 112000 miles. Of course it won't start when hot unless I leave key on till pump stops and then bleed the water filter. I have a Tass one fifty that I'm putting in on tues. there is no fuel pressure gauge but I will be putting one on tues. as well. I guess what I'm asking is my vp going to be shot. Or can we not tell without a gauge. I've never owned a diesel and mine seems pretty week feels like some pretty dead pedal. No smoke on cold start.

Uh..that's better!! Things got some power now!!

One advantage to the stealth plate is you tap the pump but not the wire. That is how it is noticable, you have to tap the wire which leaves a cut in the insulation. The stealth plate avoids that. And like Mike says, it is a good weather tight connection. You definately need to improve your tranny it is stock. I am no auto tranny man, but every thing I have read tells me yours will be gone soon adding what you are adding. But there are others here more suited to give you advice on that.

Time to put on a good exhaust. Here in trinity county, ca we only have to pass smog once so time to trick this dodge out I want to do exhaust, better turbo and tight tranny. Please suggest. Also from albuquerque to flagstaff ALL UPHILL! Tranny slips. The guys at aamco over filled two inches on dipstick!! I should have done it myself. Also mike, i cheated and just took the spring out of lift pump and streched it a little and holds 18 psi and have never seen it come close to 15 wot. Tried the washers first an shot up to twenty probably wrong size though. heres where i put my lift pump. Gonna make a mud flap over it soon. Got it way up there nice and high
