Most times when shifting into reverse I am hearing a clicking sound. Any experience with this problem? I want to get it taken care of before something happens. Thanks.:banghead:

I hear it sometimes when the truck shifts to a second gear. And sometimes when shifting into reverse. Not every time, intermitent. I want to think it maybe a u-joint.

might also want to check your brakes. My truck was making a funny clicking sound only when I would back up and it turned out that the brake pad some how came undone from the metal backing.

I would lean to ujoint.

Without a bit more info from the OP, I'm leaning toward this^^^^^^^^:2cents:
