Just wondering if there is any1 on here that has swapped in a 5 or 6 speed manual instead of a 47re? is it possible and wood it be worth it?

The more I think about it, the more a want another 6 speed. I need to find a good doner truck and get everything to do it.

Well it looks like I'll keep the tranny I got. Probly get it built with BD and ATS parts. I already put in a good TC a while ago and so I'm already invested in it. I think I'll probly get BD's lock-up controller when i do it to at least get me the solid feel to each gear i want and better downshifting. I ges we'll see what all my builder recommends:spend::broke:
