I know there are the 3rd gen diagnostic codes listed here. What I'm wondering is where do I find the "procedures" involved for delving into these. You know, like the stealership would do................they pull up a code, and look into their book/'puter for the "proper" way to fix it. First check ABCDEFGH then I etc.That's all.

I think he's looking to place it all in the article database for easier look up like what I've done with the 2nd Gen stuff.

What I looking for is this.....................Pull up code A on truck...................go to code A in repair manual/whatever and they list, in order, what to check and to do to eliminate certain things and to isolate the true cause of the code.We all know that what the code says it is, doesn't mean that's the real cause of the code.

That is in the FSM. I know the 05 FSM is uploaded on this site, not sure about the 04.5, but they should be very similar.
