Are the starters for 12v and 24valve Cummins the same?If not, what are the differences?Also, is there any benefit to replacing the stock NipponDenso with a Delco or other brand?TIA<als>

1stwelcome to the group!2nd i dont think there is a difference aside from a spacer for certain configs like auto tranny vs manual tranny. i would presume they are the same starter. correct me if wrong team :)

Randy is right, the starters are the same and as for the spacer its only used on trucks with the 6 speed manual transmission.
