What's everyone's opinion on the best gearbox? Just replaced mine from napa and its total garbage out of the box. So looking to save some time and do it right. Thanks

My understanding is the Red Head box is among the top ones. You could also check out Borgson.

Any thoughts on the newer Mopar box? I'm trying to return mine to Napa so I'll need one with out an outrageous core charge.

Is the Napa one loose? Did you try setting up the adjuster to remove the backlash? I have set mine twice on my 04.5 and once on my 07. Definitely fixes the slop in the steering

I put a Red Head on my 05 and its top notch. It had a $225 core charge but I received it back promptly after they received my core. I have heard good about the new mopar box and Borgeson too.
