Hey all!

 

I'm mostly new to the forum here though I have been lurking for a while. I have posted a couple of questions to which I got some great help. I hope to be able to add useful information as I learn more about my truck. You should see the details of it in my sig.

 

I do have one question about the forum. It seems that I get logged out after about 3 minutes and each time I change to a different page. For example: I signed in to reply to a post in the 2nd gen forum. I had to copy and paste my reply because I had to sign in again before I could post even though I had signed in to reply. I was typing the whole time which took about 5 minutes. After posting I went to look at another topic in the 2nd gen forum and noticed that I was logged out again. Then I had to log in yet again just to post this little "hey ya'll!"

 

What gives? Does anybody else have this problem?

Case in point, I had to log in 5 times just to post what I wrote above!

 

If it helps, I'm using Chrome as my browser. Would it perform better in IE?

Make sure you accepting cookies and also you click the "Remember Me" check box to tell the forum to remember your cookie. If you don't the cookie with timeout over a period of time and drop your login. If your still having issue let me know and we'll work it out.

Ah! That's the problem! I was un-checking the "Remember Me" box because I use a shared computer most of the time. I'll leave it alone and just remember to log out.
