Ok I go to tap my vp44 and the wire you are supposed to tap is missing the insulation and some of the wires are broke ? Can you replace the wire ?

You can try soldering them but they arent replaceable (ask me how i know)

This is why I always suggest the Stealth Plate over wire tapping.

 

I agree. Stealth plate is much cleaner and no more broken wires too. Not to mention, it keeps everything sealed up nicely. Even if you do get a good wire tap, you still will always run the issue of corrosion and breaking the wires over time.

 

Like said before, that wire is not replaceable. Just have to solder it if you want a decent fix.
