Looking for some opinions on what's the best setting to run on the Edge Comp while towing.  I'll be pulling around 8,000lbs.  Not towing I run 5x5.

With my old RV275's I ran 5x5 even towing. But with my +50HP Vulcan Performance injectors I got to back down to 5x3 to control smoke nothing more. EGT's are still very controllable, very capable of climbing a 6-7% grade in 4th gear and holding 53-55 MPH no a problem. So far for my fuel logs I'm pulling 11-14 MPG on the highest setting (Level 5).

Whatever you feel comfortable with. I personally control my EGT and power with my foot. I never put mine to the floor while towing with my setup... I'm too afraid something will break!

I keep mine on 4x4 all the time. Seems that's where I make the best mileage towing or not. I also have the hot unlock on mine though.

Thanks guys. I'll give it a shot on 5x5.  I don't get into the throttle too much anyway these days.
