This fellow has hung around along the road I drive to work for several years now and I just happened to have a camera handy today I stopped on the road and he posed for a snap shot but just one and his head is cranked around 180* as he is looking at me over his tail. He took off as I snapped the second pic. Hard to see but he has about a 4 foot wing span.

We have many owl species around here, Snowy, barn, western burrowing, Great horned,eastern screech owls, long and short eared owls, northern saw- whet owl and Barred owls.

Very cool. My dad and I found a dead barred owl on the property I am buying yesterday.
