I dont have a obd II scanner. Will have to find one... I will tell you a little history . I put the 44 pump in about 4 years ago. havent had any prob. I did change over to a raptor 100 and it was fine until a month ago it went bad. they sent me another and it seems to be ok. Ive got a napa spin on between tank and pump and the pressure line goes to stock canister. Also been having gauge for several years. My truck is all stock. just a run around truck. The other day it started cutting out. I let it set awhile then it cranked up and cut out all way home . 20 more miles. It died when i pulled in drive. This morn it cranked up no prroblem. ran smooth no miss so i upped the rpm to about  25000 and held it to warm up for about 5min. temp started rising and when it got to about 160 deg i felt a miss and let off and it died. Would not crank back. let it set about 4-5 hours and it cranked up fine. Thats where Im at now. Ill try to lcate a scanner.... Thanks so much

Ok...

What your fuel pressure? Idling? Also at highway speed WOT?

Still going to need the error codes.

Something I fell in love with. OBDLink LX (Green) This little bluetooth dongle is excellent for anyone with a smartphone with bluetooth. Except iPhones then you need OBDLink MX WiFi.

Drive to your local parts store and ask to borrow their scanner.

I would find another fuel pressure gauge just for the sake of double checking and testing purpose. Too much fuel pressure can cause some weird problems too.

Ok

Great,

Scan for those codes.

Side note I honestly cannot believe autozone wouldn't let you borrow a scanner. Why wouldn't they let  someone take a tool into their parking lot and scan for an issue that likely they sell a solution to???

Odd

You could... Then see if the code comes back if it does after a short drive of 5-10 miles then you know the code is real. Then you'll need to resolve it by running the diagnostics.
