Well I've made it home for the summer and it's time to start tearing this thing apart. I will begin tomorrow, but yesterday I took it to the dyno. Laid down 503 / 1215. I was very pleased with the numbers, but the knocking is getting worse to it's time to take it apart.

I won't have enough fuel to overspool the primary right now, and like you said swapping is easy.

Currently it is set at 48psi.... but with a blown intercooler I'm not sure if it's even gating. It'll likely need to be gated around 25 with twins.

I would say 28 to 30 PSI should work well any lower would probably be too low and the S475 may not be able to take over. You can always reset the waste gate but it's not as easy with all the plumbing in the way.

Just poking my head in on this side of the fence... I been fallowing this on CF:stirthepot:

I enjoy getting the views from both sides. Both sides have a ton of knowledge.... it just seems to be more friendly over here.

Yea.... and that's not even close to a 1/4 mile run.

I think the intercooler is having some adverse effects

That will fix the intercooler!

More volume and more pressure always helps!!

Is that already installed?

Haven't gotten one.... Deciding whether to buy a turbo or an intercooler while it's getting the body damage fixed. I can pick a stock one up cheap, but the aftermarkets are not

So you have an extra chrome intake horn then?

Oops we were talking about different things. Yeah that's the new intake horn installed! The AFE is already sold.....

Okay. Now that my sides hurt. I'm sure your pistons are loving the proper break-in cycle. If I remember correctly diesels should be run hard after a rebuild. i actually read that from an engine R&R book but I can not remember who's book.
