  1. I just recently installed my Edge Comp and BD stealth plate the signal wire goes to a large solder joint and leaves an indent as it makes the connection. So I would assume that's how someone would know...
  2. So your sig says you have both I assume your not running them stacked any more what one are you running now?
  3. I have to say there is a huge difference in how the programmers control the out put of the truck.
  4. I wasn't going for mileage it was just a test... With a few other test done i did find out the at the waist gate internal spring was damaged. I replaced the waist gate and temps came down to 1050-1100 wot and about 20lb of boost. I'm about ordering some new tips for these injectors and seeing if i can get some lower EGT's. Right now I'm running my Smarty on level 4 with the Edge Comp on 3x5 with the boost elbow installed. I'm seeing about 30-33psi on boost and 1350-1400 EGT's at wot. As long as i keep my foot out of it :banghead: It seems to be fine. until I figure out how to get the egt's down.
  5. So with no chips or mods installed(edge or smarty) and the waist gate hooked up normal. Boost pressure was at about 17-18 and 1300-1500 EGT's. Then with the waist gate disconnected it ran 25-27psi and 1100 EGT's.
  6. I think I'm going to do some more testing and start over from ground zero with turbo set up normal operation and RV275 and get a bench mark of the boost and EGT's with out and additives.
  7. Sounds like its time for a turbo/exhaust manifold/4"exhaust upgrade...
  8. So I reset the smarty to level 4 and edge to 3x3 and I can't get past half throttle with out going over 35psi. Not sure about EGT's as I half to let off it.
  9. Yes I stacked them and no boost elbow. Smarty is set to level 5 and edge on 3x5. I wasn't sure how it would work. The EGT's were at 1300 when I pulled my foot out of it. They would have probably kept climbing if I stayed in it longer.
  10. With it plugged off was a max of 32ish 1100 EGT's but with the elbow in I only saw 28-30 and 1300-1500 EGT's. Today I made some adjustments and was able to see 40psi and 1300 EGT's... Bad idea...
  11. EGT's never got over 1100. So how much boost can an hx35 put out with out coming apart?
  12. With the waist gate disconnected and smarty set at level 7 I only saw about 32 max psi. and only for a short period it never held there. I have a boost elbo that came with my edge comp and with it installed the boost was about the same 30-32 psi but egt's were 1300-1500 wot.
  13. OK so i need some help understanding the waist gate function. On my truck in my sig i have been running a Smarty S-03 for about 2 years and I have had the waist gate both hooked up and un-hooked with a 1/8 plug in the hole on the turbo. Egt's are much lower with the waist gate disconnected. I thought lower EGT's is better? I guess my Question is what is the harm of disconnecting the waist gate?
