  1. Have you already called them and told them of your problem? You never know, maybe something was going on with the company internally. Who knows maybe the person that was suppose to be answering emails was screwing up and is no longer there! Since I received my replacement I have had no problems. Sorry if I scared you! Everyone deserves a 2nd chance! Good luck!
  2. I am starting to wonder if I was given the wrong type of brake pads as far as in the make up of the pad?
  3. Hope you have better success than I did with them. When I first purchased mine, not all of my gauges worked. I tried to get tech help from them and it was over 2 weeks before they answered my email! Got a hold of another company that sells scan tools and they got me a new one and wanted to know all of my problems to see if it was some thing with just my truck or all 99's! Hope everything works out right for you!
  4. I put new calipers on it last March. The pads looked even in their wear. Changed out the brake fluid when I put new calipers on. Where I live it is a 8% grade to the bottom of the hill, about 2 1/2 miles. Don't even give it any fuel until I get to the stop sign! Without braking in that distance I can get up to 60 mph! Most of my trips are only 15 miles round trip, so lots of stop and go. I don't think there is anything wrong with the truck, its just my particular circumstances.
  5. Only problem I have seen is that the connection to the OBDI port is lose. I have to push the connection back on to get a good reading then I am good to go! A zip tie would fix my problem!
  6. Look at it this way that is probably 11,000 fellow Cummins owners that you helped!
  7. Doesn't hurt to try!
  8. Actually, just filled up and my ScanGauge says my avg mph for the last tank was 34! Its all of my hills and curves! Before I moved here I had gone over 30,000 on the pads.
  9. Hello everyone, Just trying to see how many monthes your getting out of your disc brake pads. I put new calipers and pads on in March of 09 and now I have to do it again! I guess when your trying to stop a 7400lb truck it goes thru them! It doesn't help that I live in an area that has a ton of hills, valleys, and curves!

  11. You going to do the repair on the fender? That isn't going to just unbolt and bolt on. The old one will have to be cut off at the seams and welded back on. Can a good body shop fix the fender. You can try a wrecking yard and see if you can find something or put a note on Craigs list as well. Nothing is going to be cheap if your buying OEM. Sorry for the misfortune.
  12. Sounds like your pump is going out. 4wd wouldn't do anything for steering. IMOP
  13. First, this problem only happens after it sits over night. If it sits 10-12 hours during the day it starts right up. Second, I have no codes, cleaned the battery terminals and used dieelectric grease on the the fuel pump electrical wires. Third, checked the 40 amp fuel fuse at the PCM.Fourth, fuel pressure is 17 psi at idle and driving and 15 psi at WOT. This problem is on a 99 2500 4X4 auto with an Edge EZ and a Raptor 150 pump. I believe it is an electrical problem. Here is the problem: turn the key in the morning, pump energizes, start the truck up and it runs for approx. 10 sec., shuts off, turn the key off and then back on- you don't hear the pump energize, turn the key off and wait for approx. 30 sec and turn the key on and you hear the pump energize. Once this happens, I usually bump the starter a couple of times because of the engine dieing at the first start. It starts up and is fine the rest of the day. One time I had the hood up and heard a noise like a switch was opening up or making contact. Any one have any ideas? Thanks for your input!
