NEED HELP! Engine cold, but Coolant Temperature gauge Pegged with Error Codes
I hear what your saying, but the question still remains as to why this app wants to access your phone call logs to read OBDII data, or know your location. I can see accessing your file storage system so it can store it's own files, but the rest is BS. And by getting used to agreeing to all these apps wanting to know our business we are being programmed more and more every day to give up more and more of our right to privacy. IMO

NEED HELP! Engine cold, but Coolant Temperature gauge Pegged with Error Codes
Any idea why Palmer Performance App needs permissions to access my phones identity, location, my photos,Media,& files, Device ID & call information? WTF kind of big brother app needs all that personal info to read OBDII info?

Locker or Limited Slip?
I agree from what I have researched, but it looks like they do not make one for my Dana 70 32 spline. May have to a Dana 80 Eaton Detroit TrueTrac | 37 Spline (3.73 & Down) to get one. Anyone ever swap out their 70-U for an 80?

Locker or Limited Slip?
So I checked out the 225SL107D part number and it say it is a Detroit Locker type by Eaton. Check out this video. I want the Torsen True Track type. Might have to wait. https://www.drivetrainshop.com/Detroit_Locker_p/eat-225sl107d.htm

Locker or Limited Slip?
Great video. Now if they just put one out for the 32 spline I would get it tomorrow.

Locker or Limited Slip?
I totally agree on the tire size point. That is why I use skinny high profile tires in the winter instead of "Jumbo Mudders". I have a little wider lower profile tires on separate rims for summer highway driving.

Locker or Limited Slip?
Try pulling a snowmobile trailer up a narrow mountain road with solid ice under 2 in. of snow. I opened my door got out and promptly fell on my ***. You could hardly walk at all it was so slick.

Locker or Limited Slip?
No tag. I bought the truck with after market Diff. covers. This last winter I was trying to go up a road on 2 in. of fresh snow, not realizing that it was solid ice underneath. I chained up both rear tires and started on, but only one tire turned, and it broke my tires chain due to ALL the torque being exerted on only one instead of both. There is sometime dirt along the edge of the road I could use for traction, but not when the one with the LEAST traction is the only one that turns. I agree, but from the research I have done the Eaton does not fit what I have due to different number of splines on the axle I have, and what they have to offer.

Locker or Limited Slip?
Getting tired of spinning A wheel on slipery roads instead of ALL wheels. Got a 2001 2500 4x4 5.9. Looking to get some sort of traction device installed this fall. Who has what on their rig, and what do you recommend? Not looking to go rock crawling, just everyday driving, and pulling a trailer in the winter.

ATS Co-pilot or Firepunk Anteater?
I have the Co-Pilot on my 01' and I like it. It basically allows you to change the shift point to a desired speed. For example, I pull a 22Ft. enclosed snowmobile trailer up windy mountain dirt roads in the winter. Instead of selecting 4 LO I can change the shift point to a lower speed so the transmission will lock up sooner and thereby reduce the heat in the transmission from the torque converter doing it's thing. I had my tranny done by the foremost guru with a stage 3 build. Billet torque converter, billet input shaft, ( check my posts for who and what was done). So I can now lock it up in all 4 gears, not just 3ed and 4th. Also handy when going down hill pulling the trailer using the exhaust brake to be able to keep it locked at the speed you choose instead of free wheeling. And unlike the poor man's lookup switch I had before, it will automatically disengage so tou don't forget and come chunking to a stop like you forgot to depress the clutch in a standard tranny.

47RE Upgrade
No. It already had a stage 2 build in it which included a $1200 billet converter. He charges $500.00 to R and R the transmission. And then $90.00 per hr. for his time, plus parts. But with his knowledge he works WAY faster than your average tranny guy. I put a list of most of the stuff that was done at the end of the video.
