I did the radiator cleaning back in the summer and brought the temo back to 190 pulling, boy was it nasty. Well its finally getting cold in GA and i turned the heat on and its blowing cool air. I cleaned the rad, new thermostat, and cap. Any ideas on why its not blowing hot ?

How does Puralator and Mobile line up with the above filters?

Ok I am fixing to change my oil for the first time. What filter and oil does everyone run? I was thinking Mopar Filter and Rotella 15w 40. Are these ok if not why?

I got my keys made at home depot and they work fine. You can get them with or without the black rubber coating. I got both one with rubber stays at home and the other just metal stay in my wallet for emergency reasons.

I am wanting to replace my carpet and seat covers for something that is easier to clean. I do alot of mechanic work and trail riding so when i get ready to go home i put a sheet over all seats for everyone to ride, I would like to wipe them off and next day get in with dress cloths. Dose anyone have any recommended sites or ideas?

Well i bought my 2001 dodge 2500 quad cab 4x4 about 1.5 months ago and have already replaced lift pump, vp44, and radiator clean from puck bottle. Last night i was in my way home and front wheel bearing went out, dang near lost a wheel, that was another $300.00 for a part. so i checked thr other side it was good and i will change it in a couple months due to money, any way took the other side aprt to check and grease the brakes pins and guess what no pin bushings on one side and dry as a bone with almost new pads. I don't understand how people think there mechanics and not do the job correct. Now the question the abs light came on when the bearing came apart and now the light stays on for 3-5 mins going down the road and then shuts off. Is this correct?

P0216 I think. It was pump timing failure code

Well went by the dodge dealer and the only computer that will work is the exact on for the truck. The said it has to come from a 99, 4x4, diesel, manual trans truck. so no one has that computer, figures that's my luck.

Thanks,I tried the relay and nothing.We are on our way to the junk yard to borrower a computer and if it fixes it i guess on our way to buy a new one. The junk yard will not sell the computer with out buying the motor since it is attached. So we will take it off and put it back on. It nice to have friends in the junkyard!

The J-Hook regulates the waste gate, facilitating greater boost numbers which rise even higher as performance modifications are added. The higher volume of air will also help keep exhaust temperatures down. Has any used or know about these? Just asking before I bought one.

I would go to a local parts store or a place that deals with automotive batteries, They should have a tester that puts load test. As far as buying batteries we have a place that sells batteries only (voltex) and the sell lots of blems about half price. hope that helps.

Update on my truck,I have cleaned the IAT Sensor, but was still white with 198k, I did clean it anyway.I did the tps Sensor reset (1 hour battery disconnect and compressed and decompress the petal several time)Installed a new airtex lift pump. has 15psi idle, I need to purchase a inside gauge soon.I have started putting 2 stroke oil in the fuel and seems to help the most.Were is the MAP sensor ?Now when I start my truck in the morning it takes off fine and in about 1/4 mile it acts like it looses power and has a no throttle and in about 1/2 mile later it picks back up and drives normal. Then every once in a while when I am driving in overdrive at 55 MPH it does it again but this time it is warm and I can push the petal to the floor and it come out of overdrive and takes off, but doesn't do this when the OD button off. Can I clean the MAP sensor and will that help?Can I clean the two bango type bolts that go to the vp44?The truck has new fuel filter also, trans is serviced and full.Any help would be great, Thanks

The fuel pressure is 13 at idle and not sure about wot. it ha a new lift pump on it. Not sure on the trans service but the past owner said he put a new trans and tcase alittle over a year ago and fluid looks and smells good. Today on the way home from work i let it sit all day and not drive it. so it was cold and had no heat in the morning. I left work and same thing but i kept the peddle about half throttle and was running about 20 mph and when the heat hand started to move it felt like i floored it and it took off like it should and i was only at half throttle. How about IAT sensor or the screen on the heater part of the intake, was talking to an old diesel mechanic and he told me to clean these and see if it helps.

Any word on your problem mine is doing the same thing and is same truck. If so what fixed it?

No it seems to have no power it will on rev to 1200-1400 trying to drive and not free spinning

I have a 2001 dodge 2500 5.9 cummins 4x4 with an auto trans. When I start off in the morning I have to wait till the heat hand moves to leave the drive way. If i start off before that i have no power or speed. The truck does no smoke, use oil, or have any codes. It is not cold outside in the morning about 70 degrees f so i don't believe it needs pluged in. after it hits 190 degrees it runs strong. I am also fine all day as long as its driven ever so often. I did put a new lift pump on it and didn't help. Need help please...Thanks,
