  1. Speed sensor fixed my TC lockup problem? but still have the problem with 1-2 up shift. Havent got a chance to mess with TV cable but I pulled the trans relay and it will shift thru all gears fine but when you do this TC doesn't lock up in any gear. So I replaced with a new relay and still same thing want up shift from 1 to 2
  2. Dropped the trans pan last night and adjusted the bands the lower band was loose but still didn't change anything. Finally threw a code p0500 and that the speed sensor if I'm correct. Also where do you adjust the tv cable at? Been crazy week tornado came thru Monday haven't had much time to work on it long hours at work and getting everything back to normal at my families houses
  3. Alright this just happened yesterday while traveling down the road the 4wd light would come on and off sometimes would stay on. This morning truck wouldn't shift from 1st to 2nd unless I backed out of it. Could this and the TC locking in and out all be tied together? And no I haven't serviced tranny yet
  4. Ok what evrryones thoughts on dropping tranny pan changing filter and tightening bans while I have the truck sitting for awhile.(tranny hasn't been serviced in about 90k miles). Because I don't wanna drive it much right now with it bouncing in/out. Afraid it's gonna tear something else up.
  5. .03 took it off and had bench tested to make sure. Then I unhooked it and pulled the fuse to drive around like suggested but nothing changed
  6. Alright I took my 35's off thought this maybe the prob. Also checked alternator and all grounds cleaned and greased. I'm ready to just burn it down Can I just run a lock up switch and be done with it. Also would that be ok on a stock tranny to do?
  7. Ok guys I'm having the same tc lock up problems wasn't doing it till I put 35's on the truck. It's not everyday thing. It may go a week and never do it then again it may do it everyday mostly are 40 to 50mph.
  8. What was the part# and could it be bought at local Auto Parts store. Mine just took a dump and don't wanna wait for it to be shipped. Mines stuck on 40psi all the time even if you shut the truck off
  9. @dripley yes he does he's there everyday! And his wifes family owns Hickory Home&Garden on 321
  10. @dripley lol. Yeah I believe it's still there. I worked at Espey Hardware in Hildebran for 4 years. Well truck is running installed edge juice with attitude. And i just hated to drop tank or take bed off again. So I opted out for the sump gotta a good deal from Ohio Diesel Products for $60. Fuel set at 18psi. One more ? Is it ok to run the edge with out tapping the vp. The guy I got edge from had every thing but the wire tap
  11. @dripley I Live in between Hickory and Morganton. Little town called Hildebran
  12. Thanks again guys! Glad I found a group that will help and not bash people on every post. Rain suppose to clear out tomorrow here in the foothills of NC hope to tear into it in the evening will let yall know what I find. The bottom of my draw straw was already cut from the factory at a 45deg. Alot of guys I know run the sumps and haven't had any problems as far as legal. One even runs hot shots in and out of weight stations all the time. But knocking the sump off is a concern I have. I haul alot for my uncle on the farm and always in and out of fields. One terrace one knock it off or worse crack the tank

  14. How do yall feel about beans sump. Thinking about going that route to avoid all the other issues I've heard draw straws can cause.
  15. Thanks guys for the response it's been pouring rain but as soon as it quits I'll check the plumbing in the tank and yes I did run the big line kit. And the tank is half full and no screens on raptor pump Also I tried running it with out cap same results so sounds like Im sucking air. Has to be the in tank. Just FYI the upgrade fuel module kit that airdog sends with the raptor sucks. Its three different pieces top is metal then you attach a hard plastic piece to it and the a flexible corrugated plastic piece to that
