Turbo Decision
Might be stepping up injectors, as when I turned in my old injection pump on a core, it was insanely rusty, and upon pulling the filters after 12k miles, there was a healthy amount of rust in the water filter. So that begs the question, are my injectors shot if my pump was rusty? What do you think @Mopar1973Man?

Turbo Decision
I ended up throwing on the hx lying around, but I have ran into some other problems..... What originally went from a VP swap and tappet reseal turned into a full blown reseal job, and had everything off that needed sealed, now the truck won't get out of second, and something's eating the belt . Only thing in the belt drive we changed was the tensioner pulley and we threw on off a 97 12v cause my wheel was a little stiff. VP is an old VP that was off my old motor that was new when we got the truck (53 block problems) and the old one showed signs of giving up, now I have no idea what's going on. Throwing some codes last I check, 0500 and 1693.

Turbo Decision
So I found out my 2001's turbo is full of oil and not very happy so here's two options: I have a replacement hx35 to throw on Or A Smeding 62/64/14 I can throw on it. Truck has 100hp sticks, a Quadzilla, Airdog 150. What would your guy's recommendation be?

Passenger Rear Drum Brake Ebrake Cable Length
Guess I had a brain fart, I meant to include I was going to buy it off rock Auto cause it was cheaper, I don't know why I missed that info....

Passenger Rear Drum Brake Ebrake Cable Length
I was gonna order one off rock Auto cause there seems to be like 4 different sizes. Didn't know if someone had the size offhand or anything.

Passenger Rear Drum Brake Ebrake Cable Length
Anyone know the size of the rear passenger ebrake cable for drum brakes is? I'd take it off and measure it but seeing how this truck is my daily I can't really take it off and measure it or I'll be without. Anything helps, thanks!

Crappy Mileage No Matter What Tune
It's not like I'm dumping fuel or anything. It's actually pretty hard to get it to smoke. It actually kinda blows a faint light haze at idle. Nothing drastic though.

Crappy Mileage No Matter What Tune
Got really no other choice. All I can think of is bad injectors but they're 2 years old. Did DAP have a bad run of injectors?
-
Crappy Mileage No Matter What Tune
Well I guess I'm just blind cause I noticed today a reman sticker on the top of the darn thing I'm so sick and tired of this running around chasing this stupid thing....

Crappy Mileage No Matter What Tune
Do you think a different ECM would help? I did fry my box with a voltage spoke awhile back. Could that have damaged the ECM?
-
Crappy Mileage No Matter What Tune
Would I need to do anything special with my quad? Like turn it off before I pull my ECM or anything?
-
Crappy Mileage No Matter What Tune
Like I said though no matter how hard I drive it nor what tune it doesn't change a darn thing at all. Could it be an ECM issue maybe? Or should we keep looking for pump/ hard part problems?

Crappy Mileage No Matter What Tune
I was seeing that kinda pressure one day when it got down to like 6, however truck ran just fine. I did unhook one of my ebrake cables cause it did appear to be slightly engaged, which actually after doing that my boost pressures at cruise have dropped it appears, yet mileage still continues to drop.

Crappy Mileage No Matter What Tune
So since mine was manufactured in 01 should we consider that theory as hogwash? It's still the same VP from factory with 235k on it. Some of the symptoms seem to be a tiny surge upon start up, gutless when cold, 30* cold starts take longer than they should, the other day had a long crank (but that's extremely rare). If it matters at all, since we last spoke the only thing I've changed was a bad APPS (TPS) and the manufacturer said to set it at 0.55 but a buddy and I couldn't get that exactly. After calibrating it though we've had 0 problems and I've driven it about 200 miles with no codes or anything. So there's that since I know timing is dependent on throttle percentage.

Crappy Mileage No Matter What Tune
@Mopar1973Man @Me78569 @dripley is there by any chance any way to damage a VP by too much fuel pressure? I was talking to my pump guy about this whole situation. Gone through brakes and all and nothing is changing mileage wise, and he asked how much fuel pressure I run, of which I tell him at idle can be 17-20 and driving is 16-18 and he chimmed in with that being way too much and maybe even damaging the pump. Is that possible? Thought VPs could take up to 20psi just fine?

Track Bar Keeps Coming Loose
I'll start there here in a couple days after it dries up! Been raining day today and supposed snow tomorrow. Oh boy!

Track Bar Keeps Coming Loose
In a perfect world I'd get/ make a bracket for a 3rd gen but I just bought this bar and would love if it just worked, which I believe it is finally since there's no audible popping, just through the steering wheel like I mentioned earlier, and it's only when I first start to drive, and then it goes away....
-
Track Bar Keeps Coming Loose
I don't think it's the tie rods though because it was all tight and fantastic until I hit a bump and this whole thing started.... Shitty oriellys suspension parts..... It's not super bad bump steer, if it does anything it'll kinda jerk it out of my hands quick and not very far like nothing's keeping it from doing it like a bad damper, granted cause mines off my dad's 03 that's been sitting for 5ish years.

Track Bar Keeps Coming Loose
Well now that you say something about them being parallel, when we installed the new bar, in the shortness of time we had instead of doing it the right way we decided to turn the wheel to separate the frame from the axle so we could slip the bar in. Not my idea, I would have rather had done it right, but my 8 month old sister was awake from her 2nd nap of the day and no one was watching her except my dad and I. So @Mopar1973Man @dripley, if that changes something let me know, don't know if that would cause it all to be unparallel or what, and if all thats needed is an alignment, that would be great! Still doesnt explainn the popping feeling in the steering wheel, that will be next.....

Track Bar Keeps Coming Loose
I've been thinking about doing that, I don't know why but I was thinking I'd hear a pop if that was the case but I will check! See and for awhile the bushing end was moving as well, and I definitely had it torqued to spec, with the bigger bolt Dodge upgraded to, and yet it was still moving ever so much.

Got it, thank you for the tip! Still trying to figure out what to use, and not to use, tape/ sealant on.

97 Auto 2500 Wiring Issues, No Cluster
Sorry this reply is so late, didn't get an email saying anyone responded! I've thought about calling them, but the sticker on the box is so rotted and weathered I have no idea what year it was made or the exact part number, and with my luck with customer service, they wouldn't want to touch the situation or not know how to fix it. I shall give it a try however, thank you!

Track Bar Keeps Coming Loose
Sorry guys I didnt see you responded! Email notifications must have been being weird...Anyways! I'm not sure, didn't check really cause for whatever reason I didn't think it was possible.... This bar is on my 01 without the leveling kit, probably should have specified... My bad..... UPDATE: So there's no audio popping sound like the track bar is loose anymore (my truck is strange), but I definitely feel a small pop in the steering wheel when turning either way, could that be a steering box? Steering seems a little loose here lately.... Or something else I've seen, is there's this company that makes a bushing for your steering shaft that they claim the factory one wears down easy and lets the spring move around to much, of which mine does, but still doesn't explain the popping feeling from the steering wheel.
