I'm having this weird thing going on with my 01. It happens I believe on all my tunes, but definitely when I'm on @Me78569 big injector daily tune and the performance tune that if I'm above power lvl 2, in second gear accelerating, it'll be going fine, then it's like fuel hits it all at once and not really stutters, just gets louder... If that makes sense? Anybody know what that is?

May I ask what PNW means? I've been meaning to ask someone but I didn't want to seem stupid.

That's cheaper than off eBay, just figured I'd ask. I'm down to pay that, and since my trucks emblems got lost buy the last owner, I guess it's time for newer badges (don't worry I got 2 other trucks with classic badges, this truck is definitely far from stock so I'm not hurting anything hopefully).

Ez Lynk has a pretty good monitor from what I understand, comes with a dash cam too. PDD sells them for ~$300.

So essentially just let off the gas right before it applies? Or apply it and let it do its thing while pulled over?

Oh ok! I was wondering how the power levels thing worked! Also, when applying a new tune while driving, does it do it on the fly or do you let off the pedal or what? I can't seem to find that answer either....

Like why you press it and apply it? The reason I ask is cause the power level bar is always at 0 and videos I've seen that goes all the way to 10 after a tune is applied.

So is there anyway to tell if the tune I'm using is uploaded? I know you can check the build date to make sure the V2 is activated, but what about the tune I have selected? I feel like I'm just clicking upload and not really feeling a difference between my performance tune and my daily tune. I apologise but I'm pretty green to all this. Anything helps, thanks!

Oh ok cool thank you! Will I have to shut the high idle option off on the Quad or anything? I presume no?

No I just installed the iQuad so its not on there anymore.

So does it go into high idle with the quad? Or do I need to make/ buy a switch?

Well I hopped in it to upload MoparMans winter tune and the code was gone so oh well. And yes I can confirm the smartys do have a high idle, I own an S03 and it was very good about putting it into high idle. Stupid question but does the Quad allow the truck into high idle? My Superchip believe it or not would give it the fuel for high idle but wouldn't allow it to go into high idle so it just blew a ton of smoke.

Really?? I figured they all would..... What would a transmission have to do with a high idle switch?

Ok thats good to know, thank you! Side note: Cool trick with the 4th gens if you didn't know already, to put it into high idle click your cruise on/off twice then hit set and boom high idle! With our trucks had that without wiring in one.....

I cleared it via the computer (Pressing the pin on the cluster) and it cleared it, turned the truck on, and still had it. I'll try clearing it with scanner and report back

The turn key 3 times. We have a scanner but its in my moms truck and I am currently waiting for her to get home.

Like title said I just installed the Quad and fired the truck up to find P1693 and I believe that is Map sensor? I couldn't find a definitive answer online, just something about boost error or something. I can say though that the plug on the Quad harness that the stock plug goes into after replacing it with the one on the Quads harness wont snap over the security tab, if that makes sense. Maybe I'm not pressing it hard enough or maybe it is in there, I don't know however, but I can say it is about to go over and snap secure, it just wont. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Just got my Quad hooked up and ready to try some tunes! When was the last update to the Mileage file?

Sounds like a good ratio to keep from tipping over! My girlfriends cousin just put a 6in. lift on his 90s Ford and keeping his 16in rims and 31s..... Kinda curious how that'll go.....

May I ask if it's top heavy or anything? Being lifted and having a short wheel base?
