3rd Gen Leveling Kit on 2nd Gen?
Ok cool I'll consider that! My 01 is due for coils anyways, 315k on stock coils, needless to say she has a decently bad rake in the front at times. I believe this leveling kit our friend has has an adjustable trac bar, I'm not sure though, I'm just speaking through my dad who could not tell you which side is the hot side and which side is the cold side on a turbo.... But from the sound of it its all there.

3rd Gen Leveling Kit on 2nd Gen?
I'm glad you mentioned the castor, I totally forgot about resetting that. What do you mean by a 3/4" more lift? I will definitely do it right the first time! My 99's trac bar was broke when I bought the truck because of not having an adjustable one and man was that weird to drive it after I got it home.

3rd Gen Leveling Kit on 2nd Gen?
Bags are planned, but I've only ever pulled 1 trailer so it's not that big of a deal to me. My 99 has a 3in. with all the proper parts on it and honestly it's pretty comfy to drive, more comfy than my 01, matter of fact.

Hmm, interesting. Do you know if the kit for an 04 will work on my 01?

3rd Gen Leveling Kit on 2nd Gen?
Like I said I think I'm getting a Trac bar instead, but when I bought the truck it just had the front end rebuilt the week before I got it so I'm good on that end. I thought the 3rd gens had the same front and back axles??? Gale Banks said so during his testing of diff covers on his YT channel. Ultimately I'll have to see when I get it, between my truck and my dad's 03, there doesn't seem to be much difference.

3rd Gen Leveling Kit on 2nd Gen?
I talked to a mechanic and he said you don't need all that till you get to 3 inches whereas this one is only a 2in. puck I believe, haven't really looked at what's all there but from the sound of it the Trac and control arms are all there.

3rd Gen Leveling Kit on 2nd Gen?
The other day I was offered a 2in. leveling kit for an 04 3/4 dodge for helping my dads friend fix his truck, but I didn't know if it'd work or not. If I'm not mistaken, my 01 and the 3rd gens have the same front axle, steering, coils, and coil buckets correct? Couldn't really find anything on this topic elsewhere so like always, someone has to know here, thanks!

Anyone wanna teach me how to use HPTuners?
When we went to go get my 99 motor he had it on 12v and it ran the whole time. He said it only does that on 90*+ days

How much could the fan running affect mileage? His fan runs pretty much all the time on 12v and we don't know why. I can't edit the tune or see what it's doing since the kid locked it

He got 20-22 all the time with the Jr and he was happy about it, then decided to get the custom tuning cause it offered the same and other things without mileage compromise, or at least we thought.

The kid that did it said he was getting 20 easily with and without 12v and the best he's gotten is 19 I believe and he's mad about that.... Like he keeps bugging me to start tuning so I can fix it.

He was getting 21-22 with the Smarty Jr then got custom tuning and is getting 17.

03 1 ton single wheel 6spd with pretty much just an Airdog on it. He is a farrier so he just drives it for mileage.

Sloppy Loose Gas Pedal?
Ok, I will too and might make a post about how to do it.

Sloppy Loose Gas Pedal?
Alrighty I'll just keep an eye on it. Thanks for helping Dripley and for pointing that out @Mopar1973Man I'll look to see if theres an adjustable screw or something on that bellcrank, did you find anything on that??
-
Sloppy Loose Gas Pedal?
No they're fine. Brakes are strong as day one but I'll check them tomorrow. Whats the kit called you bought to fix this problem and how much was it? It hasn't dripped on my floor mat as far as I know of so it probably hasn't been a problem for awhile.

Sloppy Loose Gas Pedal?
So whats leaking is not the shaft seal? What are the steps to go about this? I assume take it off, reseal, reinstall, and rebleed brakes?
-
Sloppy Loose Gas Pedal?
@dripley @Mopar1973Man I didn't know there was a way to adjust it... I pulled the bellcrank and didn't see a place to adjust it, or maybe I overlooked it? Also how hard is it to replace a hydroboost? My dads 03 hydro was a pain in the arse to do, and I am really dreading doing this one.....

Sloppy Loose Gas Pedal?
So since I got this truck over a year and a half ago and ever since it's had a very sloppy gas pedal. The first picture is it resting against the cable stop, the second is being supported by my foot, third is a picture of where it rests on the stop unsupported and fourth shows it being supported where I'm pretty sure it should be. Could it be they put in the throttle cable of a V8 or V10? I checked the "Throttle Body" for lack of a better word, and that spring is tight and not sloppy in there so I don't know what is wrong. Doesn't really effect performance just kinda annoying. Any advice helps. Thanks!

Any excuse for compounds is a good excuse! All I need are lines, CPS adapter, throttle cable, and the oil feed adapter.

Anyone wanna teach me how to use HPTuners?
Not happening ? I've wanted to do the swap from the moment I knew it was possible.

If you're asking about the pump and kit, no. $450 cash. It was from the guy I bought my newer 99 motor from for my red truck. If you're talking about the programmer, I don't know anybody who wants to trade so I won't waste my time cause with my luck I'll trade for it and my pump will die, which is when I plan on doing the swap.

Well I'd do it if I didn't just buy a non tampered 180 p7100 and half the swap kit for $400.
