  1. That sounds pretty interesting! I'm pretty sure dad is done shopping around for programmers lol. I have a Smarty S03 I might need some tips for however.
  2. We had a Smarty Jr then dad sold it for an HP to get custom tunes and he hates it from a professional tuner and he thinks I can do better.
  3. No just CR trucks, I already have a Smarty for my 24v.
  4. I will probably do that. You can tune everything down to injector spray width.
  5. My dad keeps bugging me to learn how to tune using HPTuners, but I hopped on there to get started and I'm just so overwhelmed by everything. Could someone lend me a hand and help me understand what I'm looking at and narrow down what I need to focus on to tune a truck? Recently I've been interested in doing it but with all the timing correction tabs and such I couldn't even begin to know where to look or narrow down what I need to focus on. I'll love you long time if you help me out lol. Thanks!
  6. Hey at least you got paid for other peoples screw ups! That sounds like the perfect example of Murphy's law for sure.
  7. Dang son, what happened? Monsoon season? City delays?
  8. We have one in Derby, and two in Wichita. For sure one of my favorite places to eat. Let me know if you guys got anymore planned near me, that'd be a fun welding job and a good summer job for me if things get slow. Thats pretty impressive if I do say so myself.
  9. Are you in charge of them in your area or all over the US? We got one near me about 3 or 4 years ago, that'd be pretty cool if you had a part in it!
  10. I'd be sick of it too! I always kinda wondered about the joke surrounding the chicken thing, guess I know now.
  11. Like put a hose over the drain in the engine bay correct? I was planning on going tonight to get some hose to do just that.
  12. I have can lights and no I didn't leave them down. I found where it's leaking for sure and that'd be at the drain. My paper towel was soaked coming home from school today, here are some pictures. First two are just the water and where it's coming from for reference on where to go from here The last pic is obviously my control arms soaked with water to show it's not clogged. What are your guy's thoughts on just caulking around that plastic bit that goes into the firewall for the drain??
  13. My weather app is saying 88* at 55% humidity. You guys get hit pretty bad by the storm?
  14. Oh ok that's good to know! I was told by my dad to keep it on there to reduce the water, but according to my paper towel I put around the drain at the firewall it isn't wet.... Soooooo I don't know where to go from there.
  15. Ya it's on max AC to avoid it getting wet again, assuming that's the problem
  16. Somewhere around 3-5 gallons if I had to guess. I have paper towels around the drain inside the cab to check for leaks today. Pretty much got the whole truck dried out now and no water so far.
  17. Ok. I reached up under there and noticed that, didn't know if water got in there at any point or not. I'll keep searching. I found where the drain goes through the firewall after looking for about 5 seconds. I'll keep an eye out on it to see if its weeping water between the rubber part and the firewall.
  18. @JAG1 @Dieselfuture @dripley do you guys know if water can come out the blower motor? If so found the problem.... Whoever replaced it didn't tighten one of the screws for it
  19. So they wouldn't flex and make noise or......?
  20. I will probably end up pulling mine since its pretty matted on the passenger side. I will probably scrape the sound deadening stuff out since there seems to be rust forming around the edges, and I'd like to stop that asap.
  21. I heard the sound deadening material doesn't do much. Diesel Future said he took his out and it didnt make a difference. Might head down that road.
