Problem with idle cut off
Hello, I returned the Dodge to stock, changed the air intake sensor as well, charged the batteries fully. I restarted, the vehicle starts, but it seems to take 4 seconds to find its idle and stabilize. I drove for about 5 kilometers, it has not cut out yet. I let it reach its operating temperature. Maybe the tps has problems. Hi everybody, I ve just finish to install new bosch oem injectors..... I ve not tested the truck because it s raining and it s night..... So tomorrow I will see if the problem continue or not..... I ve control the vp44 harness to see , but there is no problème.....

I ve just buy 6 new bosch injectors at rockauto.... when I will receive them, I will installé them to see if my problems continue or not.... Maybe you ré right the injectors rebuilt I ve bought are not or bad calibrated some are at 295 bars instead of 310 bars.... I keep them and one Day If it s the problem I would take them to a specialist....

Yes, I drove the truck for 5 km. When I accelerate, the truck accelerates normally without any problem. The problem is when it returns to its rpm, it either drops below the rpm or it stalls like the videos.

Yes .... I think it s more easy to change them again than to control them..... because I saw the price is 40 $ for 1 injector.... Is there a tool I can buy to measure pressure, and is it affordable? In France thé mecanic is very expensive ( taxes, workforce the price of parts)

Problem with idle cut off
I replaced the vp44 because I broke down at the gas station. I found a code p1689, the dodge would no longer start. I did a hot test to confirm that it was the pump and not something else.. No, I ve replaced injectors, tube , seals, line in the same time with my new vp44. The key is the New with the new vp44. It s not the old. I just say it s the same that old. No I ve no inspect the electrical connector. The rpm pass at 3000 because I push the pedal with my hand. And I dont understand why thewhen the idle go down more under 600 rpm , and in the second vidéo I push slowly on the pedal and you can see the rpm when it goes down , it cut off the engine. It s my problem. Why..... Thank you for your help. My problem is why when the idle goes down either it goes down below its rpm or it turns off the engine. Before it broke down it never did that to me. Maybe I missed something.

The leak is at the end of injector lines between the connector tubes n1 3 4 5, and the bolts which connect the lines..... I think but I m not sur I have misaligned the lines.. and I have changed too all the 6 injectors, by rebuilt with 75 hp more, with new seals and copper seals, maybe it s not adapted or calibrate I don t know.... And for the programmer, I ve bought several years ago a programmer superchips cortex, and sometime I ve installed torque program to have more torque , before my vp44 breaks... maybe the New vp44 could not support this, and I need to re install in stock.... it s a supposition..... I have bought the vp44 at rockauto .... because these are only who can ship at my country and with less taxes .... If I was in US it would be more easiest for me to repair my truck, you have everything..... But it s like that..... That I remember when I replaced the vp 44 7 days ago , the keyway are the same 035..... and I was happy for that. It was rebuilt by delphi apparently. So the psg5 I dont know if it was rebuilt too or not .It seems new, the wires too.....

OK. Thank you very much. So before I forget, I ve too 2 seals on return fuel line behind the 6th cylinders, and 2 seals not 3 on the T of the return line. Do you think it could be a problem .... thèse are oem mopar seals. I didnt know if I can put other seals or modified all the return lines.... so I found 2 mopar seals for the T. and little expensive... 75$ for 2 little seals.....

Hi excuse me to disturb you, I have a 98,5 dodge ram 2500 cummins. I ve just changed my vp44 by a rebuilt, I ve changed too injector by rebuilt 75 HP, changed the 6 lines by New, 6 connectors tubes seals, the fuel filter, put transparent hose to see if there is bubbles but no, and I have a problem. The truck start good, the idle doesnt move ( like apps dead), when I accelerate the engine cut off. I restart , it restart good. Before I forget I have installed before I changed all that, a superchips cortex programmer.... I found à little leak on my new injection lines ( 1, 3 4 5) at the connection with tubes... I have no code ... I make a video to explain it... what do you think it could be.... the little leaks? The programmer? The injectors? Please be clear and explain your ideas well. Mopar1973Man - In this video he's asking about the tach dipping down but it doesn't stall. That is strange I have no code..... I have some little leaks between the end of the injection lines, I thinked it was this produce air which go inside by here and less pressure .... but I dont understand.... This happens when the idle speed drops, sometimes it cuts the engine and sometimes not at all.... Excuse me to disturb you but I live at Monaco, and in my country there is nobody to repair this truck. I ve just changed the vp44 I bought at Rockauto.com, because these are the only who ship in my country and with less taxes.... So maybe I missed something when reinstalling everything.... but I dont think... only when I install the injector lines to the connector tubes.... it was difficult to reposition them.... so thank you very much for your help..... hi, Ive adjusted it, it is correct! I think ti change or the valve body or the TPs sensor, becaue I don't understand why there is only this little probleme with the 2nd to 3rd, and not with the others? I think a valve stuck, but I don't want again remove all the fluid for nothing, because if it's a sensor (TPS0 it's easy to remove, the valve body it's easy but you need to wait the fluid flush! I work like the old mechanics, under the truck , and I don't want to take a bath with oil ! Ok thank you, i ve send a mail, I hope he will answer> It's not a big problem, but I like my truck, and I like to take care of it! I'm not in US, I'm in France, and the mechanics in France are very expensive, and I ve learnd the old mechanic with my grand father, without computer, for me it's better when you have problem you can put your hand, now if you change the brake pad for example you cant because you have the computer he doesn't recognize the new brakes! I dont like the electronics, because it's not sure a 100%, you have always a problem! So thank you very much for your help.

Hi, my name is jeremy Excuse me to disturb you, I have a dodge ram 24V 2500 99 with a 47 RE tranny, I have a little problem with my tranny> All the shifts are good, but the problem is the 2nd to 3rd hesitate, i need to accelerate more to pass this shift, and the 4 is ok > Ive changed the governor pressure only, not the transducer,and there is no changing! but I ask to myself if the problems would be a 2-3 valve stuck on the valve body, or the TPS is faulty! I adjust the front band and the rear too, the fluid was correct, red, and there is no particulate on the filter he was clean! So I need to your help before changing something else for nothing! I have no DRB scan tool, and not pressure gauge! Thank you for your help in advance>
