Just checked in to see if there were any updates....not sure which version I have but I don't see where to download the file at? Been a while since I've been online here so maybe you guys changed the location of the files..

Sounds interesting... Is there a way to make a copy of one on your custom tunes? Say I have a tune I like but I want to try some small changes. So I duplicate the tune make a couple of changes and save it to a new name.

I have my light throttle load advance set at 0* and my 2k rpm setting is at 18 and my truck will hit 19-19.5* cruising around at 1900-1950 rpms. Does it all the time. This is one I've been trying to figure out for a while now.

I'll look for smoke on it tomorrow and report back.

I knew you were gonna ask me that. Had 211k on it when I bought it. 260k now. I was told it PO had it rebuilt to the cost of $3800, I was told that by the dealer I bought it from. I was a one owner before me and it was an older gentleman. He unfortunately passed away so I couldn't find out who he had do it. I need to pull the inspection cover off and look is the bottom line.

Although that doesn't explain the canbus dropping out?

I'm not sure. Feels okay to me, doesn't drive any different and haven't noticed any changes. Having said that you bring up a good point, it definitely could be the cause of a stumble like that if it's starting to let go.

It will stumble a time or two then come back and idle or it will die right after the first stumble

Well to further add to it I just put a new VP in a few months back, did injectors at the same time.

I can yes. I tried to download it before for you but the app locked up and I lost it. I never tried it on 0 to see if it still died. I'll try that as well. Bad thing is I put my Quad in a few days before the injectors so I don't really know which is the cause. The whole 950 rpm point is where it dies though. If it doesnt die it definitely surges several times before it settles.

I know we've talked about this before but I have the same issue. I can kill my truck pulling out of a parking spot if my low psi canbus is below 92%. It's all around that 950 RPM point. Just touch the throttle stuff. Kzimmer, who's injectors do you have?

Well and honestly I'm concerned it might wind up having cruise timing too high. I've seen my OEM cruise timing approach 21*.

wifi. Sorry the version 2.5 is my only option within 98-02 year range. I saw a 2.4 option as well but that was for the 00-02. So that link is the tune for for the OEM plus timing tune we were PMing about?

Interesting. Mine shows PSI on that as well. I just reselected that profile and it still shows PSI for me. Your talking V2.5 correct? I didn't get a chance to try your OEM timing plus X timing tune you emailed me the other day, it won't let me grab it from the website and just gives me the oops error.

I cleared the data log right before I made this so there shouldn't be much to look at. I downloaded this while on the road so I didn't get a chance to look at it but next time I'll try to get you a starting point before I upload the log. If I lay into it it down shifts right away and the shutter disappears instantly. But it also disappears if I ease into the throttle pretty much instantly as well. I'm not running tap so here is where my tune is Load offset 1* Low psi reduct 3* Scaling 100% Light throttle adv 0* Load limit 35 psi 1500 14.5* been as high as 16 in testing 2000 19* 2500 23* 3000 25* Max 27* 0- 94 1- 94 2- 95 3- 96 4- 97 5- 99 6- 101 7- 103 8- 105 9- 107 10- 109 11- 111 12- 113 13- 115 14- 117 15- 119 16- 121 18- 123 Up by 2 the rest of the way. On my economy tune I started the can bus fueling at 85 and if I blip the throttle from idle say while pulling out of a parking spot the engine would die. If I go any lower than 94 on the tune above it will die as well. This may be do too the 950rpm switch over and it can't react fast enough? Again this is if I just blip the throttle quickly.

Already ahead of you. Just made a quick little run to a small valley were this happens every time, first pass was on zero, second and third pass was on 3. Pretty noticeable. Stronger as it gets lower in rpm. This could be a mechanical issue I'm thinking. Maybe the trans is trying to shift out of gear or unlock the convertor? This is typically lugging around in 3 or 4th with the TC locked. Once the TC unlocks or it down shifts the bucking goes away, but that could be because the rpm goes back up as well.

Yeah just had a chance to look at it. I think 8226 to 8278. That was a lot wider data log than I was expecting, my throttle blips were huge lol. What's the sample rate of the datalogs?

Sorry Nick, out running around and didn't actually look at the file before I uploaded it. I did 3 quick throttle blips right after it did it. Not full throttle blips as I was in traffic but probably quick half throttle blips and then exported the data log right afterwards. Got to be in the last 30 seconds on the log maybe a little longer.

Finally got it added Here is a short data log of what's in the video. Couldn't get it to maintain it for as long as I did in the video but it does it several times throughout this log iQuad-2017-08-14-12.14.17534667024.csv I do it when it gives me the option to but sometimes it just locks up or shuts down without giving me the report option.
