  1. What's everyone one using for a map sensor? My stock one maxes out at 40psi. I'm suspect that I'm making more boost than 40. I have the quadzilla BT gauges and dont want to run manual gauge.
  2. @Evan Adding positive caster means rotating the cam or wider position towards the front of the truck? Generic picture btw for example.
  3. @@Bullet I have new fox 2.0 shock also forgot to mention that. I recommend them btw really improved the handling. @Evan I was kinda afraid all they did was adjust the tone, but I didn't have two fancy printouts to compare. I'm going back to have the toe set to 0 or as close as possible. Is there any way to adjust the caster myself ? I kinda want to try some different degrees if say 3.8 is to loose and 4.5 is to sluggish. Without paying $90 everytime. @Royal Squire I know I guess I'll just keep rotating them more often until I get this front end nailed down.
  4. @Bullet Yep had them balanced also. The seem to be getting choppy on the outside edges, or that's where I noticed it the most. With more tire noise when I say go through a "S" turn in the road. I found the "thuren alignment " specs that someone else posted. I'm not sure about the caster it says to run... my toe is a little off of what he recommends, but not much. THUREN_FAB_ALIGNMENT.pdf
  5. @Bullet Yes all new, along with new wheel bearings and u-joints had the tires balanced and rotated prior to alignment.
  6. I have a 01 dodge cummins 4wd, it has synergy steering, BD track bar, EMF ball joints and Redhead steering box. I recently had it aligned and I'm still getting tire noise and wear(getting choppy) and the truck still wonders back and forth. I'll attach my alignment specs the shop set everything to. I need some help with what is correct? Because I went from the Y style to the T style steering and I think it not correct now.
  7. Well (Me78569) you were right found a broken wire on the truck harness side of the data plug. Wont let me attach a picture for some reason.
  8. No engine light. I haven't checked to see it there is a code. I'll try and check them off the instrument cluster. I think I have quadzilla problems now I've lost more sensors
  9. No boost and 100% transmission slip???? So I just changed my oil and fuel filters along with fixing an oil leak on the vacuum pump. To fixing the oil leak I unplugged the sensor behind the vacuum pump and the three wire plug next to the engine ID plate..... fixed the oil leak and re-assembled everything. While I was drive home, I noticed it not registering boost and the trans was at 100% slip. I foot braked it to try and build some boost. It start to build up but felt like it just fell on its face and didn't have any power. Still drove okay I tried resetting the app sensor no change. 01 2nd gen, BT iquad all the normal mods. Looking for ideas?!
  10. Yeah I used my fingers (3 fingers) from the bump to the axle. I was concerned the springs were getting weak.
  11. How much distance should there be between the bump stop and the axle? I only have about 3 - 3.5 inches. 01 dodge 2500 4wd
  12. I heard rumors of a adapter kit but have put eyes on it yet.
  13. Has anyone tried adapting the 3rd/4th gen Mopar HD steering box to a 2nd gen?
  14. I ended up using 3m urethane windshield adhesive. So far so good. I guess time will tell. I cleaned, glued and clamped all night. Then installed it the next morning.
  15. My rear side window detached from the hinge at the glued joint. Anyone had this happen? If I try re- gluing it, what glue would be best?
  16. I decided on the sac because they were suppose be better at atomization of fuel and they are whatever stock pop pressure is.
  17. @Mopar1973Man @cumminsVP2001 @Dieselfuture I know it's been a couple of days but here is short video of the haze my 7.010 sac injectors are making. The truck idles smooth but gets rougher if you barely crack the throttle off of idle, almost like a miss, the smooths back out above that. I'm running my quadzilla at 75% for 0 psi. This haze started after about 4k miles on the new injectors and has progressively gotten worse. Is this a normal amount of haze for 7.010sac or is it a tune issue or should I just pull the injectors and test them?
  18. I just put the bolts in snug enough to hold the tappet cover flat and square, then torque them (actually 48hrs later bc I got stuck at work). And I'll take a look at the tappet cover breather hose to see if its dry or not.
  19. I have a 12v tapper cover on my truck currently that has the breather made on it. I haven't noticed oil dripping from it or at least a large amount. I still get some out of the breather on the timing cover haven't done the mopar1973man mod yet. The problem I have is the factory seal on the tapper cover is a poor design and (I think in my case) doesn't hold enough tension on the seal (between the block and cover) to keep the oil where its supposed to be. Possibly my cover is sprung or bent enough, that it's not holding the pressure it should... idk... I don't want to gamble on it again bc it's a pain in the azz to change. But from what I've seen, the billet covers have an O-ring in a groove that's suppose to seal better. And yes I used the "right stuff" silicone with a new seal and let it dry for 24hrs then torqued everything the way the books said.... fast forward 3000mile annnnndd its leaking.
  20. Can someone give me suggestions on which billet tappet cover to buy? I've changed the seal once already.... I don't want to do it again so I'm going billet... I've heard Keating Machine tappet covers are good? What's everyone's opinion on brands and longevity?
  21. Any tests that I can do to single out the possible problematic injector?
  22. I'll try and catch a video of the amount of haze. It pretty much does it all the time. From cold start (at least 90* in the mornings) to operating temperature. They are DAP injectors with only 4000 miles. I hope I don't have one going bad already.
  23. Is their any way to adjust idle timing? I have sac 7.010 injectors and I'm getting a pretty fair amount of white-ish haze at idle (hope that's normal?).... and I was thinking of I could add a degree or two of timing, at idle to offset the pop pressure and higher amount of fuel load, then maybe it would clean it up a little.
