Ok, that is Chinese to me, how about layman terms. Anything I can do to correct the issue? --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?ud1x10 2003 Ram with gauges and a Smarty! Not much more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Dash was out a few weeks ago to redo the evaporator. I have already reinstalled the connectors to the cluster. --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?dhtb5m 2003 Ram with gauges and a Smarty! Not much more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have gotten this a couple of times, unplug the main connector inside and reconnect it clears up. All grounds look good. What can I check? --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?5zlayk 2003 Ram with gauges and a Smarty! Not much more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Got another key? Give that a try. Means invalid skim key. --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?hffgsa 2003 Ram with gauges and a Smarty! Not much more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Had a very similar issue. Truck ran awesome, didn't make oil, no smoke, no nothing. But after warm wouldn't start. Ended up talking to a guy on another forum that said the solenoids were done. He recommended rebuilding the injectors to replace the solenoid but couldn't handle the down time. Ended up replacing the 6 of them and been good ever since. Knock on wood! --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?z4s4oz 2003 Ram with gauges and a Smarty! Not much more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wow that is a lot. I bought XRF ball joints and had some one install them and the grand total was around $500. --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?bai1jr 2003 Ram with gauges and a Smarty! Not much more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There is a lot of information about this out there. Many probabilities, blend door, low freon, heat from the heater core. I would probably get the freon checked, then look at blend doors. --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?jn5smv 2003 Ram with gauges and a Smarty! Not much more. Mine usually runs 195 but lately I have seen spikes of 205 then fan kicks and back to 170-180 range, should I change my T-stat. It use to be a steady 190 never varied that I can remember. --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?5iasbx 2003 Ram with gauges and a Smarty! Not much more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. Clutch seized together. Wouldn't spin. As for the pressures I have read comments in other forums and they state the exact same thing about the pressure spikes due to the fan not kicking in. Which is turn causes the freon to be puked out. The additional pusher fan is to help with the pressure spikes when the engine fan is not engaged. The pusher fan is wired to come on when the clutch engages. --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?zfbucv 2003 Ram with gauges and a Smarty! Not much more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. At my friends shop with gauges we saw close to 400, cold truck and outside temp of mid 60's. Not even close to what summer time temps get down here is SC. I know the freon level is right also because it was filled using a scale. The passenger side temp is warmer than the driver and this will help in colling the freon. No idling unless I have too for traffic. I try to keep that to a minimum. Only time I ever extend I after pulling my fifth to let the turbo cool down. --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?vwxn2w 2003 Ram with gauges and a Smarty! Not much more. 14. It started as to what pressures should the AC be at, then turned to other things. The reason for the pusher fan is cause the trucks fan does not really kick on when the compressor is started until it warms up. Which causes the pressure to really spike. This will help the passenger side cool a little more also. The cores are clean from what I can tell. --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?1ktqr2 2003 Ram with gauges and a Smarty! 17. Just changed my original pads last week. 122000 miles. Rotors didn't even require to be turned, just took off a little and used new Mopar rotors. I guess I am a believer in that the mfg wouldn't skimp out on safety related equipment. --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?lz5tym 2003 Ram with gauges and a Smarty! Not much more. 19. That is some good upgrades. Wish I was a little more handy with stuff like that. I am always worried I will make things worse! --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?ssjuv5 2003 Ram with gauges and a Smarty! Not much more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Got the fan installed. Little tight had to grind some of the fan ribs and took a little off of the hood latch handle but it fits. --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?w0rba1 2003 Ram with gauges and a Smarty! Not much more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Nothing in the ECM to tell the fan to engage when the high side pressure increases. Cold engine the fan doesn't spin fast enough to cool the condensor. I bet most 3rd gens added a can of freon a lot cause of this. --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?hvuzte 2003 Ram with gauges and a Smarty! Not much more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. From what I have researched, the 3rd gen Ram A/C really sucks and for it to spike this high is common place. No real way for the fan clutch to engage when the A/C clutch kicks in to cool the condensor. So from what I have read and seen pictures people are installing a 16" electric fan on the front of the condensor and wiring directly to the A/C clutch. I have ordered my fan and hope to be installing soon.
  23. Engineering for Freightliner. Specifically the side that does walkin vans, motor homes and school buses. A lot of the new Thomas traditional school buses were designed by me now working on rear engine motor homes and rear eng school buses.2003 Ram with gauges and a Smarty! 24. Someone once told me the electro/viscous fan is tied into the a/c somehow. The fan will spin a little faster when the a/c is to pull air over the condenser. --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?4w0yle 2003 Ram with gauges and a Smarty! Not much more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Just replaced my a/c compressor and the mechanic notes that the pressures were getting high and the fan wasn't engaging. Took awhile for the fan to kick on. So at what pressure is it supposed to get for the fan clutch to kick in? --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?fvx4cf 2003 Ram with gauges and a Smarty! Not much more.
