Quad info
I'm thinking of going with quadzilla tuning on my 99 vp44 truck. I have an EJWA currently. But am putting a long block crate engine in as well as rebuilding the rest of the truck. If I go quad, What all do I need to purchase? Which operating system does it work the best with? I have a Samsung phone which I read is not ideal, I will likely buy a tablet strictly for use with the quad. I not looking for trial and error, I'd prefer to buy something that is user friendly and known to work well together. Can I still use my CTS monitor for gauges or will I have to buy a different set up, is there an option for a screen and gauges with the Quad? I looked at the link for quadzilla but am unsure of the above questions. Thanks in Advance for your replies.

injectors
I believe I bought aftermarket bodies as I'm in Canada and didn't want the hassle of sending cores back. I had 3 sets 7x9, which I ran and worked well but a little too hot with stock turbo and EJWA on hot unlock. I have 7x10.5's which I bought to run with a s300 charger then decided to go twins and bought 7x13 sac' s with a tip mode rated at 275. I have yet to run either set of larger injectors

I had 100hp DAP injectors that I bought from Crazy Carl's Turbo's. I never had any problems with them. They are not Bosch injectors they are built on aftermarket bodies as far as I know. They are decently priced. As for your trans not having problems I cannot comment. My trans had problems when I bought the truck and I had it rebuilt twice. It is slipping again and will have a complete billet trans built when it goes back on the road.

I realize I'll lose the electronic tuning, that's why I haven't bitten the bullet and bought a p pump and install kit yet. My plans have changed a few times over the last year not being able to drive it and looking at forums and parts catalogues.

I want as much as I can get. Would like to reach 750 on fuel only with a VP. I won't spray. But want it driveable. I'm worried if I p pump it I lose the electronic tunability

I had them build a motor they would warranty 5 yrs 100k miles at 850hp, which I think is unobtainable with a VP

I have a fass titanum 150 to replace the 95. I installed the 95gpm just after buying the truck as once I hooked up a fuel gauge it was showing a vacuum as the in tank lift pump had gone bad and the vp was pulling fuel. I will look into the quad tuning as I am not sure I want to spend the extra money to p pump it and take a step backwards in regards to tuning. And I think it would be different to have a Hot VP truck as most people opt the easy route with a p pump.

Thanks. I had a smarty stacked with the EJWA but didn't care for it at all. The smarty just seemed to act like an on off switch for the throttle. I might have to look into the quad tuning. I've been debating p pumping it before installing it. But as is I have $60-70k in parts in a $10k truck. This truck has been apart since May of last year waiting on the parts from DOR. I bought a 2017 Lariamie 3500 CCLB 4x4 6.7 G56 at that time which is now deleted with EFI live SBDD 3250 and 35's. I miss the 2nd gen and will be glad when I have it up and running again. The 2017 will be my dd and work truck so I'll be able to have fun cruising in the 2nd gen and be able to keep it fairly clean and maintained.

I decided to rebuild my 2nd gen. I'd bought a rust free box and set of doors 2 years ago to be installed. That was all I planned on. Then last Feb I was on the DOR site. I ordered a few parts, extreme 3" lift, long arms, bolt in steering, steering brace, traction bars, Carli rear springs with axle flip and airbags, fox 2.5's coil overs up front, fox bump stops front and rear. I'd already collected and installed a few fueling and air upgrades, EJWA hot unlock, fass 95, Crazy Carl's tunnel ram intake, 3.5" intercooler piping, air horn, BHAF, Magnaflow stacks etc. Then I ordered a few more parts, II VP, Crazy Carl's twin kit with a 62/68/12 and a S475/96/1.10, a set of 7x10.5s and a set of Sac 7x13's with tip mode, Northern hi flow intercooler, fass 150, coolant bypass, billet freeze plugs, and a bunch of supporting parts that I haven't looked at in a year including a redhead steering box, Geno's ps lines and hi pressure pump, borgestein steering shaft, new rad, new hoses, new red top ultima's etc. While I was waiting for my parts from DOR, which I ordered and paid for Feb 16, 2017. They are supposed to be here next week. I decided if I was going to spend the money I had so far I should upgrade the rest of the engine before bolting all the parts on. So I ordered a reman long block from DFC in Edmonton Alberta Canada, with Wagler rods, Hamilton valve train, stage 3 cam, o ringed head etc. I have a new fan hub and support, new water pump, new oil cooler, new engine mount inserts. I know I have to do the 47re again as I had it rebuilt twice in the 18 months I drove the truck and is slipping again at nearly stock power, I've been in contact with a shop here in Nova Scotia Canada who builds tranny's for the pulling crowd, he is going to build me a billet 47re. I have a bd billet flywheel. Is there anything else I should replace while I'm building the truck? I'm redoing the whole brake lines with a ss kit I got. I think it will be a decent build when finished, it's a factory Sport DRW 4x4 ECLB with leather. I have a ram air hood, front flares and a visor to go on when the body and paint is done, with all smoked lenses, truck is factory black. Have a new set of American Eagle 059 alloys and 315/75r16's
